Taking emergency monitoring of your staff, contractors and lone/remote workers to the next level

The ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of workers, and that other people are not put at risk by tasks undertaken at work is paramount to all businesses following the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

HealthSafe’s innovative SecurePass software for contractors, staff (incl. lone/remote workers) and visitors was designed at around the same time as this new legislation which aims to protect people and businesses along with saving lives. As a SaaS system, SecurePass is built around simplicity and ease of use with multiple requirements in mind which include health and safety, security, risk management, governance, facility and emergency management.

It is the multitude of SecurePass emergency management features that allow for the emergency and distress situation monitoring that is proving popular with businesses and is why HealthSafe has gone to the next level in partnering with the most trusted name in emergency response management in New Zealand, St John.

In July 2018, HealthSafe and St John launched their new service offering at The National Safety Show in Auckland which provides New Zealanders with market leading emergency management software via their smartphones using SecurePass along with having New Zealand’s most trusted emergency response provider, St John, available across 24/7/365 to support the health and wellbeing of HealthSafe’s clients when they find themselves in an emergency or distress situation.

SecurePass emergency management support includes an emergency ‘shake’ notification feature, beeper alert and a heart rate BPM (Beats per Minute) reader which can monitor signs of life. These features combined with GPS tracking, name/contact details and SecurePass dashboard visibility from smartphone and tablet devices allow for the location of the person to be instantly identified.

As partners, we care about the health, safety and wellbeing of all our people and jointly provide a support infrastructure that protects people and helps to save lives. We are already seeing that clients with the greatest need for this new service offering operate from within the Government, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics, Property and Construction sectors.

The added assurance of 24/7/365 St John emergency services monitoring provides total peace of mind in ensuring that SecurePass users have an additional layer of emergency support including the ability to have St John vehicles instantly dispatched to them when they need it most.
